We are a 100% Australian owned manufacturer and distributor of innovative explosives. Due to the rapid expansion and diversification of the company our CHARTERS TOWERS operation is currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated person to manage our explosives manufacturing facility.
The following attributes would be highly regarded
- Tertiary qualification in a related area e.g. mechanical/production engineering - Chemical background in plastics - Experience in inventory/stock control within a manufacturing environment - Knowledge of lean production management systems and processes
An awareness and understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Policies and Australian Explosives Legislation is required to promote a safe and effective regulatory compliance culture throughout the facility.
The company prides itself on being a reliable explosives industry supplier and problem solver a strong customer focus is required to maintain the supply and demand of customer requirements.
Flexibility in approach to hours of work is required to meet business deadlines
A remuneration package is to be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on qualifications
